FAQs

Setting up your wallet for Double Up

What wallet should I use for DoubleUp?

We recommend using the Slush Wallet, created by Mysten Labs — the team behind SUI. It’s simple to set up and works on both desktop (via Chrome extension) and mobile (iOS and Android apps).

2. How do I create a wallet with Slush?

You can create a Slush wallet in two ways:

  • With Gmail/iCloud/Facebook – Just log in and your wallet is ready.

  • With a Passphrase – You'll receive a 12-word recovery phrase. Save this somewhere safe; it gives full access to your wallet. Then, set your login password and you're good to go.

3. How do I buy SUI to play?

Inside the Slush wallet, click “Buy,” enter the USD amount you want, and choose a provider like Coinbase to complete your purchase. Once your wallet is funded with SUI, you’re ready to gamble.

4. Is the mobile wallet setup different from desktop?

Almost identical! The only difference is that on mobile, you’ll download the Slush Wallet app (available on iOS & Android) instead of a Chrome extension. Everything else — from creating an account to buying SUI — works the same.

4. Why can’t I use Safari or Chrome on mobile to play?

2. What can I find on the UP Portal?

The UP Portal is your real-time dashboard for tracking DoubleUp’s performance and $UP metrics, including:

  • All-Time Casino Revenue – $6,018,638 as of November 18th, 2025

  • Transaction Volume – updated daily, weekly, and monthly

Sports Betting FAQs

1. Is sports betting part of Unihouse?

  • Yes. Sports betting is integrated within Unihouse, which serves as DoubleUp’s liquidity pool. Bets use USDC, and Unihouse handles all betting logic, fund flows, and settlements, with the team managing funds and on-chain operations.

2. Who provides the odds and sports data? Did the team develop it?

  • Odds and event data come from leading third-party sports data providers via API. The team does not develop the data itself but handles betting logic and settlements. The UI and front-end experience are independently designed and developed by the team.

3. Why are deposits fast, but withdrawals usually require waiting?

  • Deposits are on-chain transfers credited within about one minute.

  • Withdrawals require match results and settlement details from third-party APIs before on-chain execution for security and accuracy. They typically complete within 24 hours, which is standard for crypto betting platforms.

4. Is the withdrawal process safe? Do funds pass through third parties?

  • Withdrawals are managed entirely by the team using on-chain technology and smart contracts. Third-party APIs only provide event data; they do not handle user funds.

5. How do sports betting funds flow? Do they go through third parties?

  • User funds go directly into the Unihouse liquidity pool controlled by the team. Third parties only provide data and do not handle fund custody or settlement.

6. Will sports betting support SUI or other assets in the future?

  • Currently, only USDC is supported to avoid volatility during settlement. Future support for SUI or other assets depends on user demand, technical feasibility, and settlement mechanisms. Feedback is welcome.

7. Does the team plan to optimize withdrawal times?

  • Yes. Withdrawal times are designed to ensure settlement accuracy, but the team is continuously working to optimize data interactions and fund workflows to shorten waiting times and improve user experience.
