Blackjack

Objective:

Beat the dealer's hand without going over 21. Payout is 2:1 for a standard win, and 3:2 for Blackjack.

How to Play:

  1. Place Your Bet: Select your wager amount and click "Place bet"

  2. Receive Cards: You'll get two cards, and the dealer will receive two cards (one face-up, one face-down).

  3. Hit or Stand: Decide whether to "Hit" (draw another card) or "Stand" (keep your current hand). The goal is to get a hand value as close to 21 as possible without exceeding it.

  4. Double Down or Split: If you’re confident, you can "Double Down" (double your bet and get one more card) or "Split" (if you have two cards of the same value, you can split them into two separate hands).

  5. Dealer’s Turn: Once you stand, the dealer reveals their hidden card and completes their hand based on house rules.

  6. Win or Lose: If your hand value is higher than the dealer’s or if the dealer busts (exceeds 21), you win. If you bust or have a lower hand than the dealer, you lose. If the end results in a tie/push, the player will recieve their wager amount back.

Game Mechanics:

Upon game start, cards are drawn from one standard 52-card deck.

Single-deck blackjack has a house edge of ~0.5%.
